Things that I love: Making paper snowflakes with my little daughter, my wife, great Thai food, a well put together film, fresh mint Tic Tac’s (it borders on dependent), dancing Grandma’s, symmetry, thoughtful and intentional asymmetry, nostalgia, old fans and clocks, a good cup of coffee, homemade pizza, logic, great design (probably is a good reason why I have always driven Volkswagens, and never owned a computer other than a Mac) seeing and looking at things differently, concerts, great music through a great pair of headphones, “people watching” at an airport arrival gate, and the power of a photograph.

Things that I don’t love: Oddly a lot of foods that start with the letter ‘C‘, not too fond of mean people, or people that drive with their signal on, illogic, my borderline dependancy on Tic Tacs, shovelling anything – especially snow, how my office is often in disarray, laugh tracks in Sit-coms, toilet seats that are left up, and movies with talking animals.

Caylyn and Claudio – Sneak peek

Last weekend Caylyn and Claudio had their wedding at Nith Ridge Estates in Ayr this past weekend in their amphitheater. It was touch and go, they had torrential rain in the afternoon (even though you could always see blue sky), and threatened to derail their well laid plans. I had faith that it was going to work for them, and I am so glad it did. They had their ceremony outside, and everything worked out well. Hats of to Terry, Marlene and their staff of Nith Ridge Estates, they did everything possible to make Caylyn and Claudio happy, literally fighting that weather. Moving and drying chairs, truly remarkable. Awesome flower arrangments from Flourish.
