Things that I love: Making paper snowflakes with my little daughter, my wife, great Thai food, a well put together film, fresh mint Tic Tac’s (it borders on dependent), dancing Grandma’s, symmetry, thoughtful and intentional asymmetry, nostalgia, old fans and clocks, a good cup of coffee, homemade pizza, logic, great design (probably is a good reason why I have always driven Volkswagens, and never owned a computer other than a Mac) seeing and looking at things differently, concerts, great music through a great pair of headphones, “people watching” at an airport arrival gate, and the power of a photograph.

Things that I don’t love: Oddly a lot of foods that start with the letter ‘C‘, not too fond of mean people, or people that drive with their signal on, illogic, my borderline dependancy on Tic Tacs, shovelling anything – especially snow, how my office is often in disarray, laugh tracks in Sit-coms, toilet seats that are left up, and movies with talking animals.

Gunner and Mike

Mike called me a few weeks back and asked if I would take some photographs of Gunner. I jumped at the chance, and looked forward to the chance to do something new, and see Gunner again. I first met Gunner when Mike and I worked together years back when Mike got Gunner as a puppy. He had tons of personality then, and even at the age of thirteen he hasn’t changed a bit. Such a sweet and pleasant demeanour and a “total ham” in the words of Mike. I appreciate the opportunity Mike to document a bit of your relationship with his Vizsla Gunner – and if you ever want to do it again, you know where to find me.
