Hacienda Sarria Open House

I was fortunate to be invited to attend the Hacienda Sarria open house a while back, and present some of my work as a preferred vendor. I was asked by Mary from Do it in style, Tina from Pink Poppi, and Lori from Hollywood weddings to photograph their creation in the courtyard. Beautiful work ladies, it was a pleasure. Some of the other great vendors included ; Yvonne from The Cake box, Dominic From Gusto Catering, Jodi from Jodi Leigh Design, Trish from Kettle Creek weddings, and Lisa from Les Fleurs. As promised here is some of my favourites from an incredible wedding at an incredible venue, Hacienda Sarria. There were so many great photographs from this wedding, it was difficult to only include 20(ish) images. Lesli looked incredible, and Adam is just fun to be around. Both so laid back and wanted to simply enjoy their day. All the makings for some great photographs. Thanks so much for having me as your wedding photographer guys. Truly a pleasure.

Lesli and Adam’s first dance, there isn’t going to be one like it for a long time. Complete wardrobe change, fully choreographed, and all in an incredible venue.

Here is a really nice note from Lesli’s parents that I just received – Thanks so much!

We’ve looked at the photographs dozens of times and see more and more things we like every time.

You do have a wonderful way of capturing the emotion of the day, from Lesli’s smile to Adam’s nervousness.

Thank you for the beautifully-lit, clear and sharp photos that also show the mood of the Hacienda, even at night.

Gunner and Mike

Mike called me a few weeks back and asked if I would take some photographs of Gunner. I jumped at the chance, and looked forward to the chance to do something new, and see Gunner again. I first met Gunner when Mike and I worked together years back when Mike got Gunner as a puppy. He had tons of personality then, and even at the age of thirteen he hasn’t changed a bit. Such a sweet and pleasant demeanour and a “total ham” in the words of Mike. I appreciate the opportunity Mike to document a bit of your relationship with his Vizsla Gunner – and if you ever want to do it again, you know where to find me.

It was great to see everyone who stopped be to say Hi at the open house at Hacienda Sarria that was held over the weekend. It was great to hear about the special days that people have planned. Can’t wait to be a part of them.

What a great way to start a Monday morning – being included in an incredibly talented group of photographers. Every quarter ISPWP (The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) has a competition, and Katie and Angelo’s image placed 16th is this incredibly competitive competition. I couldn’t be happier.
